Rough road as Leichtnam, Larks seek repeat
There should be a crowd in the middle of the pack, and there might be a battle for the top rung of the league ladder as Southeast Conference football teams open the 2010 season on the upcoming Labor Day weekend.

M-C football hoping for better than a three-way tie
When the 2009 season came to an end, the Mabel-Canton Cougars found themselves in a three-way tie for third place. But that was not the heartbreaker of the season. What was hard to accept was how the four defeats were lost. All five wins were decisive; the four losses were excruciating as they all went down to the wire with margins of 1, 4, 2 and 7 points.
